Risky Business

Ethan's had a little bit of a problem the last month or so. He unfortunately has a hemorrhoid so he doesn't want to poo. I know, I know exploding a kids issues is not cool......it will however explain the picture. Ethan's bottom is so raw and uncomfortable that we decided to let him run wild without a diaper. For a little boy it's definetly "risky" business. A little fresh air seems to help everything so we are hopeing it helps him. Roger wanted to lay with him to watch Madagascar but was affraid the air would cause a puddle. That explains the towel he has put over his pee pee:) I hope this gives you a giggle, it did for us!

Handy?!?!?

Handy Manny seems to be a favorite of Ethan's lately. I'm not sure if he just likes the show or if he's just grown to like it due to the construction going on at our house. He also likes to carry around his toothbrush and brush periodically thru-out the day. You be the judge! Is Ethan practicing for dentistry or to become my handy man?

Speaking of being handy, I put my skills to the test. I put together a new shelving unit for Ethan's toys. Not bad if I do say so myself:)

Trundle is GOOD!

Knock on wood, Ethan seems to love his new bed! We both tested out the trundle for a nice nap. I woke a little earlier but when I went back to check-in on him....he was laying with his eyes wide open and a smile on his face:)

Bedroom Furniture

Ethan's bedroom furniture has arrived!!!!!! We love it! I hope Ethan loves it just as much when he's sleeping in it. I will post some pics even tho the room isn't completed. Still waiting for the blinds to come in and some electrical stuff to be completed. We are getting closer.

Ethan's 1st Swimming Pool

Ok so it's not the best of pools but it's better than what I had at this age. One day we hope to be able to give our kids a nice pool. For now this will have to work. I must say it's pretty big for a blow up. Roger, Ethan and I fit with plenty of room. Ethan showed his Grammy the pool this morning and said, "pool" so if anything it taught him a word...YEAH!!!!! Once Ethan is over his ear infection we will all be enjoying it much more:)

Family trip to the Beach

What an amazing trip to the beach. Ethan ran without hesitation in the sand to the water. He is fearless! He absolutely loved everything about the beach. He had fun collecting shells, playing with his sand bucket and loved the water and waves. I think we have a little beach bum on our hands.

My Messy Eater

YUM! Ethan really enjoyed his fudgesicle today. He made a massive mess but it was cute watching him enjoy it:) As far as everything else he eats....it usually ends up somehow in his hair. You'd think it'd make it grow but no such luck!

Golfing

Ethan loves playing with his new golf set. Although the clubs sometimes turn into weapons it was a great buy, it keeps him BUSY!

Ethan Asleep

We were running errands and our last stop was the bank. When I turned around,this is what I saw....PRICELESS! Ethan was chewing on a brush apparently and fell asleep with it in his mouth. It's funny how he always seems to catch me off guard and makes me giggle:)

Ethan was playing in his new room and found the phone. I know he doesn't speak clear but what he is yelling is HELLO! Too bad I can't figure out how to flip it..LOL!

Here are some pictures from when we got together at the mall with the kids...Ally, Ella and Ethan. Of course the girls were calm and played nice. Ethan on the other hand kept running out of the play area. He also thought it'd be fun to go down the slide head first. Crazy little man! We had fun and can't wait to do it again:)

15 Month

Here are pics from Ethan's 15th Month. For March's playdate we went with the St. Patty's Day theme. The kids wore green and we all ate green foods...YUMMY!!!!

Of course there are some misc. pics of Ethan playing in the kitchen with a hanger??? He will play and mess with about ANYTHING! He's always into something and interested in EVERYTHING!

We occasionally get to met up with his pal Aubri. All she wanted to do was give kisses (LOL) and all he wanted to do was to play!

We'll be interested to see what 16Months brings us:)

The Vest Family

Hello to all who have followed us to our new experience of the blog site. This is all new so bare with us. We will continue to update Aidan's babysite until it expires but we have got rid of Ethan's babysite. Too much to update and too expensive to keep up. I will try my hardest to update as often as I can:)

As of right now.....I'm 22 weeks pregnant and growing at a rapid pace. Aidan is getting bigger,and stronger everyday. We are very excited and inpatient to meet him (don't worry not too inpatient, we want him to bake longer). Wondering who he will look like or if he will be anything like his BIG brother Ethan.

Speaking of Ethan he is doing great! He is growing taller and getting bigger. At his last appt. he was 31inches tall and 22lb14oz, running close to 50%. He is working on his last eye tooth (ouch)! He make tons of sound effects and says some words. He is extremely active. He loves to walk, run and climb on any and everything...including me!!!
