The Boys in the month of April 2010

I am in the process of learning to blog from my phone. I believe this may help me to keep up with the blog a little quicker than my once to twice a month updates. Here are a couple of random pictures of the boys from this month!
Ethan is learning to love his hat....just like Daddy!
The boys playing around in my unfolded pile of laundry that was thrown off the couch.Boys!

Aidan army crawling
I got a smirk from Ethan. Must have caught him off guard
They love swinging. Mommy loves when they swing at the same time, gives me a little break.
As long as he is reading....I am OK with the mess!
Aidan loves the annoying yapping dog
YUM watermelon and banana in the mesh feeder
Cute outfit? Ethan loves to put his pirate boots on. They protect him from being ran over by Aidan in the walker.
There will be more to come from this month....what's left of it!

Roger and I got a night off

It's not very often Roger and I get a chance to go anywhere without the boys. Not that we want to be away from them, but it's only healthy to have Husband and Wife time. We were invited to Chad and Leah's wedding at the Sirata on St. Pete Beach. It was absolutely beautiful. We were very lucky to have such an amazing view of the water. I have to say it was nice to eat without stopping to feed a little one.

Thanks to my wonderful Mother In Law Susan who got off of work early. She came over to help with the boys so that we were able to get ready. She feed, watched and put the boys to bed all by 8 o'clock. It was great to have a cocktail with my husband, have an uninterrupted adult conversation, and a slow dance!! It makes you appreciate one another a little more. Having that being said, we called a cab and were home by midnight. A little tired on Saturday, yet refreshed from having an evening off. Can't wait for another date night:)
Ready for a night out!

Easter 2010

The boys must have been great because they definitely got alot from the Easter Bunny! Aidan seemed to enjoy his first Easter. I don't think he cared too much for the basket but loved playing with everything that Ethan flung on the ground. Ethan seemed to REALLY like the egg hunt to find his basket as if this was the first time he's done it. I know I say this often but I really feel truly blessed to have such a beautiful family. Even though we were unable to spend it with my side of the family, I thought about them all day!

After our morning egg hunt, opening of the basket we went to Mass. I must say that my two boys were pretty good. Aidan ended up falling asleep in my arms and Ethan.....he hid under the seats! When church was over we headed to Susan's for a quick egg hunt and again....more treats from the Nana Easter Bunny and Great Nana Easter Bunny. My boys are spoiled from all!

We were able to meet up at the Bayou Club for a wonderful brunch and went home with a full belly. After taking a nice nap we then spent some time together as a family.
Aidan has been teething like crazy. He was working on 5 teeth & has got 3 so far in a couple of days!
No biggie Aidan! It's just my Coach wristlet.
