This is so much SAFER

I know I have updated the blog with a couple post recently. The title of this one refers to the past post.
Roger had to work two Saturday's ago so we met up with Melissa, Austin and Kaden. We went for a nice walk. To our surprise it was pretty chilly in the shade so we walked quickly and let the kids run around to warm up at the park. Luckily,I had an extra pair of pants to toss on Aidan. The boys seem to have inherited Roger's warmth so it turned out ok.
These are bad pics but I had to take some. It was Aidan's first time on a swing at the park! Hard to capture his smile with swinging but I tried. He loved it! He seemed so relaxed:) Glad to know Ethan still enjoys a nice, stress-free, day at the park!

He better not be the next Evil Knievel

You are probably wondering why Ethan has no shirt on? Or maybe why we let our two year old on a motorcycle? Let me explain the no shirt thing first...... We went over our great friends house Dawn, Brandon and Nicholas'. We met there so we could figure out where we were daring to take the boys to dinner. While waiting on Brandon, Nicholas wanting to take Ethan on a ride on his motorcycle. Roger had already taken Ethan's shirt of because he was playing in the dirt and we didn't have a back up. He took it off to save for when we went to dinner.

Ethan loved the helmet....it made him a bobble head
No hands! Not funny!
I can only imagine what Ethan is saying, "Mom seriously, get the camera out of our faces. We want to ride!"

This is a little safer:)

Ok, ok this is way too scary. Not to mention DANGEROUS?!?

No jumping off Ethan. Your little (7month old) brother is still on the bike!
I can empathize with all of the mothers out there who have wild crazy boys. This is my fear. It's very hard to let loose of your baby. Well my oldest baby wanted to ride on the motorcycle. I wasn't wanting to let him. I was peer pressured and my heart raced in panic the entire time. I was "that Mom" who said, "slow, slow down, slow, not fast" as Nicholas drove Ethan down the side walk. Every horrible thought went through my head. What would I do if he fell off? What would I do if they crashed? Nicholas was very precautious and he did indeed go very slllloooowww however, you read horror stories! If Ethan is wanting to do this at two years old, can you imagine what my life is going to be like in the future? Say your prayers for us now:)

Random pictures of the boys for the month of March

I am so blessed to have such beautiful boys. They are the light of my life. I love when they wake with smiles, play together, learn together and teach one another. This month has been getting exciting. Aidan has learned how to walk/run around the house in his walker. He is attempting to scoot on the floor but it turns into rolling from one item to another. I think it's all conincedental but he does wave and give kisses occasionally on command (not on command too,LOL). I love watching Aidan stare at his big brother with a smile from ear to ear in ahhhhh. He loves EVERYTHING Ethan does. Ethan loves to entertain his brother too. I catch him stopping to make sure Aidan is paying attention to him. They are the best!

It's a rare moment when Aidan isn't smiling.

He loves when his Mommy reads books to him.

Roger is starting him off early with Gator apparel

He loves it!

He finally got his 1st tooth this month

Ethan is not a fan of the camera lately. I did sneek a shot, he smiled but I got the hand.

He loves putting his goggles on while working on his Home Depot work bench

Tried to capture Ethan showing Aidan his discovery animals

He likes to read when no one is watching.

Yes, Hurrican Ethan has struck the room in the mater of seconds!

Cuddling
Shocking right? Ethan has learned to like to eat corn. We try re-introducing everything and it finally paid off.
Yum!

Aidan 7 Months

We had a play date today at Demetra's house and my friend Sheryl did me a HUGE favor by taking these beautiful pictures of Aidan. Her camera really captured his beautiful BLUE eyes:)

Look at that smile!

I am always wondering who Aidan looks like but after seeing this picture it's clear to me that he looks just like his Daddy!

Thanks Sheryl for taking such nice pics. Maybe this will trigger my husband to want to buy me a new camera (hint hint Rog).

A Random trip to Downtown Disney

My friend Kristy and I like to meet up for a play date once every week or every other week. Some how she convinced me it'd be a great idea to bring the kids to Downtown Disney. I have to admit they were pretty good considering we took a 1.5hr+ drive. We started off by walking the kids around, then we let them enjoy lego land for a little bit. We attempted to go into the Mr. Potato head store but decided to head to lunch at the T-Rex restaurant.
Surprisingly Ethan was scared of the huge dinosaur. It was a bit difficult getting the four kids in without the stroller but somehow we made it. I have definitely turned into that Mom who orders her kid the fun sugar filled drink just to keep him entertained and sitting! The things you do to prevent chaos.

After lunch we let the kids wear out a little bit by playing in the sand looking for dinosaur fossils:) It turned out to be a fun but LONG day:)

Cell phone deals

Roger and I were due to upgrade our phones and needless to say we needed to. My phone was shutting off for no reason so I was going to have to spend the $50 for a new one through insurance. We were also up to renew our contract. I wasn't sure if I wanted to switch carriers since both Roger and I have had Verizon since before we were dating. I did a little research and we are paying comparably to the others. I decided we would stick with Verizon. I can't complain. We seem to get service EVERYWHERE and rarely get a dropped call (minus the Howard Franklin). There was a special to buy one Droid(phone) get the second free as long as you renew your contract for 2 years (very common). I decided to look a little further and I am glad I did. I found this website: http://www.cellulardeals.com/ I wasn't sure if it was legit but again did a quick search and found nothing bad. I decided to go with it. I ordered both of us a new phone and renewed our contracts for 1/2 the price that I would have going to a Verizon store. Just thought I'd share in case you are in the same boat. I love a good savings! Who doesn't in this recession???

FYI: You can buy phones for a cheaper retail price in case you don't want to renew your contract:) Hope this helps.
